When WWE 2K20 first launched last week, one of the first complaints was the missing Bump in the Night pre-order pack. Many were unhappy about this because it included Bray Wyatt’s Fiend persona, one of the hottest superstars in the WWE right now. Most appeared unaware that the DLC had been delayed for one week post-launch.
With that launch coming this afternoon, Twitter was quickly ablaze with Xbox users who were being prompted to purchase the pack even though they were already entitled to it through the Deluxe or Collector’s editions of the game.
While 2K was able to resolve this issue by this evening, the snake-bitten year for 2K in general seems to be continuing for now. The fix that they mentioned is below:
If the issue persists, uninstall the DLC and reinstall it, then relaunch the game. Thank you for your patience and enjoy!

Now, in this case this may have been more a Microsoft issue than a 2K issue, but the point remains that this has been a very bumpy launch for WWE 2K20. It comes on the heels of the split from Yuke’s and stings even more for the company due to the rough launch for NBA 2K20 as well. While special circumstances have most likely made this a one-off for the WWE 2K franchise in terms of how bad the launch was, these rough starts have become a trend for 2K.
