WRC 10 Video - In the Shoes of Sébastien Loeb
Nine-time world WRC champion Sébastien Loeb was a special guest during NACON Connect as he discussed and revealed the latest WRC 10 video. The latest edition is celebrating 50 years of the FIA World Rally Championship.
To celebrate 50 years of the competition, WRC 10 offers a unique anniversary edition. A retrospective mode offers players the chance to relive 19 events that have shaped the history of the Championship. These challenging special stages put drivers’ skills to the test by imposing conditions specific to each era.
The physics have been further improved to offer players an even more realistic experience. Control of aerodynamic forces, the turbo and braking have received particular attention on all surfaces, so that WRC 10 recreates ever more accurate and intense driving sensations. Immersion has also been increased with a completely reworked audio design for this new edition.
The Career mode has also been improved with a new livery editor and the chance to create your own team. You can now apply your own colors to championship cars to complement the 52 official teams of the 2021 season. Take up the challenge with your own custom team.
Finish the 2021 season atop the podium and relive the most intense moments at the wheel of iconic cars to celebrate 50 years of the competition.

Although the legendary drivers, rally cars, and venues were not available in this build, I did get the chance to see them during the presentation. The WRC series has always done a wonderful job of embracing the history of the sport, but with WRC 10 the developers are allowing players to participate at a level never before experienced on any platform. You can now participate in some of the most historic and famous rallies at each recreated venue and with the actual drivers who helped create those moments. There is enough depth and content involved with the historical recreations that WRC 10 actually has a full mode now dedicated to nothing but racing and participating in the history of the sport.
