Joining the already impressive roster, the following boxers have been added to the game.

A few more venues have been added in today’s update as well. They include Grand Theatre and Technicolour Gym, along with a nighttime version of Coldwell Gym and a daytime version of Empire Pro. We’ve embedded a video from Ricky J Sports at the end of the article highlighting all of the additions.

The team continues looking into the online cheating issues and hope to make their first wave of bans soon. They request users continue using the report player function to assist in the effort. SCI is also investing a lot of time and continued testing to fix disconnects, surrenders, desyncs and matchmaking issues.

As mentioned, this update wasn’t all about the content as the team implemented some gameplay changes and bug fixes as well. Check out the patch notes below.

Gameplay Changes
  • We’ve updated inside fighting with a new push animation and improved responsiveness.
  • Made further tweaks to judge preferences in an effort to produce fairer fight results.
General Changes
  • The fighter’s team can now be seen walking with the fighter during the ringwalk timelines.
  • Introduced motion blur settings.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug causing players to see their level as between 0 and 1 on the reward screen regardless of their actual level after a ranked match.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to apply the wrong resolution when first launched.
  • Fixed an issue causing fighter models to fail to load in the Fighter Select menu if a player returns to fighter select midway through a match.
  • Fixed an issue where the in-game pause menu would remain faintly visible after a player had navigated to other menus.
