With the World Series now set, it feels like the perfect time to start reflecting on this year in Diamond Dynasty. We know we’re probably getting an insane Bryce Harper card and some other juicy Postseason cards highlighting the top performers — and we already know we’re getting Finest in early November. That said, the majority of the best cards have been released, and these are tried and true content drops that happen every year and always bring new, elite versions of current superstars. We’ll still probably get better versions of Legends that have already gotten cards, but I feel like it would be fun to compile a list of my favorite cards of the year to this point in my 2022 All-Diamond Dynasty team.
Grab some of the most beloved characters in animation history and add some maps that bring some familiar locations to life. Now, give those characters some karts and motorcycles, the ability to upgrade your vehicles, and have some familiar faces come along for the ride. You now have a recipe for a kart racing title that delivers on all fronts, or at least in theory, with Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway. But how does it all actually come together? Well, let’s talk about that in my Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway review.
From developer Blackout Games, Blackout Rugby Manager is a multiplayer rugby manager game available for the PC and select mobile devices. As another free-to-play game, Blackout Games does make it known that there are paid DLC items, but for the most part the experience to be had with this rugby sim can be enjoyed without having to hit the old credit card. As one of the only rugby sims out, Blackout Rugby Manager strikes a nice balance for newcomers to the sport and die-hard fans. For the purpose of this review, I played the game via Steam for the PC. With that all said, let’s get into my Blackout Rugby Manager review.
With the World Series starting tonight, it’s the peak of the MLB season. With sports video games, the inverse is true. When the “winner takes all” series finally happens, our sports video games are sort of winding down a bit. The most “hardcore” people are still playing (and some new users are just getting in when the price of the game comes down), but the discussions have died down to some degree. This is not a new phenomenon, it’s just that with sports games coming out at the start of or before the real season, people just get tired of playing a sports game or move on to other games after multiple months. That being said, the questions about MLB The Show 23 are real after a somewhat down year for the franchise, and so folks on OS are asking each other “what will make you buy MLB The Show 23?”
