So what’s new with Konami’s eFootball 2023? Well, nothing much if we’re being honest. All jokes aside, it’s hard to believe that we’re already on the third rendition of eFootball. While many have stopped playing, there are a handful of hardcore fans and competitive players out there who have stuck with the game as Konami updates both the gameplay and ways to play the game. Let’s not beat around the bush and see what’s new in 2023.
One of the more interesting side quests in NBA 2K23‘s MyCareer is the music trivia at Erick’s Vinyl. These daily side quests challenge you on your music industry knowledge. The questions ranged from classic rock to modern hip hop and everything in between. Answering the questions correctly nets you valuable VC and XP to continue earning MVP Points within MyCareer.
These trivia mini-games are timed, which makes rapid searching tricky. The upside is you can answer incorrectly as many times as you want and still complete the side quest. You’ll just have to completely restart the entire process, annoying cutscenes and all, and repeat until you answer all questions correctly.
Much like the Music Trivia side quest, the Fashion Trivia side quest is a relatively easy way to make a little VC in MyCareer. And I do mean “a little” as the payout is 500 VC for nailing the correct answers. Following the same dynamic duo formula as the Music Trivia quest, Fashion Trivia features Sabine and Yolanda in all their preppy glory as they test your knowledge on all things fashion.
I know absolutely nothing about fashion. Answering these questions featured a lot of rinse and repeat as I had to constantly redo these quests due to incorrect answers. For your own sanity, use this list to blaze through the questions and skate away from the scary fashion ladies.
Games are won and lost in the midfield, and a few top sides are in dire need of reinforcements. Today, we’re going to dive deep into a few of the hottest names on the market, what teams are linked with them, and what kind of transfer fees it would take to secure their services using FIFA 23’s Transfer Analyst as a way to gauge the deal.
One of, if not the hottest name on the market this window, Enzo Fernandez made a huge name for himself in this winter’s World Cup helping Argentina to win it all while also winning the Young Player of the Tournament. Enzo’s profile is all the rage right now. A deep lying playmaker capable of playing penetrating passes into the final third, Enzo can play in a midfield of three or a double-pivot.
Although most developers do an admirable job these days of creating a driving system within each racing game to accommodate both wheel and controller approaches, my preference will always be that of a wheel. Specific titles lend themselves better to a controller, with the Need for Speed series and Grid series coming to mind. With that said, many titles offer an entirely different experience when utilized with a racing wheel peripheral. Gran Turismo 7 is one of those tiles. I have been lucky enough to race the latest release from Polyphony with multiple wheel options, and here are my favorite wheels that will seamlessly take your GT7experience to a higher level — and do so in different ways depending on how eager you are to jump into the world of sim racing.
After yesterday’s breakdown from EA detailing the final “damage report” relating to users who were impacted by certain cloud CFM saves being deleted — and the “make rights” being offered for Madden 24 — it feels like a good time to highlight a forum thread that was started right before 2023 (and this cloud save chaos) started. In the statement from EA, we now know at some point CFM users will get a “Commissioner Tools feature set” that will allow commishes to customize leagues in “unique and novel ways” for their group. No other details were mentioned as of now, but this is a good launching point to get into what OS folks have been saying in this thread so far.
I’ve spent a lot of time writing about Diamond Dynasty and most recently talked about the game modes within DD. But this offseason in MLB has been one of the most interesting in a long time, and it inspired me to get creative within The Show. Let’s discuss the saga of Carlos Correa.
EA has announced that EA Sports PGA Tour will be released on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC on March 24, 2023, with pre-ordering available as of today.
EA emphasizes this will be the exclusive home of the majors, allowing you to play the Masters tournament, the PGA Championship, the US Open Championship, and The Open while chasing the FedEx Cup throughout the season. Thanks to a partnership with the LPGA, you’ll also be able to compete for the Amundi Evian Championship, one of LPGA’s five major championships.
The Curse of Rosteritis is something that likely haunts OS folks more than it does most others. Our obsession to have things look exactly like the real sports we care so much about can sometimes get in the way of our own enjoyment of a game. However, Rosteritis can come at any point in a real sports season. The trade deadline in all sports can be an issue. Spring training ending in baseball or preseason ending in the NFL can be another scary point. However, the one that seems to be getting MLB The Show fans down right now is that weird point where pitchers and catchers are not reporting quite yet but most of the offseason is complete.
