While mods have been the standard for the PC version of SnowRunner, it has taken some time for the team at Focus Home Interactive to bring them over to the console side of the house.
Available today, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 gamers can find a selection of 30+ mods with many more to come, as the team promises a steady flow of new mods will arrive as the team continues to work with the modding community. The mods range from vehicles and maps, to tweaks and drivable octopus. Wait what?
Here’s a quote from our SnowRunner review we posted in April. If you’re on the fence, make sure to give it a read. For more on the game, make sure to visit our SnowRunner page.
SnowRunner is not going to be for everyone. In fact, I would consider this title to be more of a simulation and less of a sport. It’s really a combination of multiple titles, but in the end, it is a slow-moving, methodical off-road simulation that has a sprinkle of sports and outdoors tossed into the mixed. If you’re looking for a time killer that will test you and your resolve quite often, then you could do much worse than having SnowRunner in the rotation.
