Skater XL Update Provides More Freedom with Grabs, Adds In-Game News Feed & More

The latest Skater XL update is available today on both PC and consoles offering enhanced freedom with the grab mechanic. There are no longer any limitations on the timing of your grabs or when you should let go of them. This means that each hand has the ability to grab anywhere around the skateboard, allowing for maneuvers like between-the-legs grabs, Seatbelts, and Crails.

• Grab the board at any time with LB / RB, including while riding, during manuals, grinds, power slides, mid-air, during flip tricks, during pop-outs and more.
• Hold grabs through transitions between these different game states.
• Grab the board at any subtle angle you choose based on the angle of the board. There is a unique hand position and pose that will be created for any given board angle.
• Grab and release the board with either or both hands independently to mix and combine different grabs.

The update also features a new in-game news feed providing notifications on the latest news, tips, content releases and more without having to exit the game.
