Skate Developers Provide Details on Customization, Brands, Rewards and More
The Skate developers are back again with Episode 5 of The Board Room as they provide details on character customization, cosmetics, rewards and some of the brand partnerships for the game.
A wide array of tools and options are at the players’ disposal to express themselves and display their personality. Players will have the freedom to tailor their character’s wardrobe, physique, height and features to their liking. The game will include a range of tops, pants, headwear, eyewear, footwear and socks from Vans, Girl and Chocolate with more brand partners to be revealed down the road. When it comes to customizing your board, you’ll be able to choose from various deck arts, stickers, grip tape designs, wheel color and much more.
Players will also have the opportunity to unlock new items for their character and board through the in-game store using both currencies earned through gameplay and premium ones. The developers are committed to ensuring that every moment players invest in San Vansterdam is rewarding, regardless of whether they opt to buy premium currency or not.
The team didn’t reveal an official release date but console playtesting is scheduled to arrive later this year. Players are encouraged to sign up to become a skate Insider for a chance to playtest. Good luck.
