RIDE 5 Trailer Includes New Features, Revamped Career Mode and Much More

Milestone has posted a new RIDE 5 trailer and corresponding blog today going over the new features, revamped career mode and much more. RIDE 5 career mode offers two paths: the Tour, divided into four acts with diverse events like championships, single races, and time attacks, and the Limitless Challenges, with four unlockable acts that provide higher difficulty.

In Career mode, clearing groups doesn’t require winning every race; reaching a minimum score is enough. The initial score requirement is low but increases as players progress. In Limitless Challenges, all races must be won to complete them; there is no surpassing threshold. RIDE 5’s adaptability to player preferences is evident, including the option for time-based or single lap qualifications.

The Race Creator in RIDE 5 offers extensive customization options for players to create their own races. They have control over the logo, name, format (single event or championship), driving aids, competition type, number of riders, events, scoring and more. This level of customization also extends to AI-managed riders, allowing players to personalize their bikes, suits and even choose opponents with meticulous detail.

RIDE 5 features diverse race types, including Endurances replicating iconic races like the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Winning races rewards players with credits, experience and unique bikes, while Endurance races in the Race Creator only provide credits and experience. Career mode offers powerful bikes as rewards for each race group, allowing players to choose how to spend their credits on upgrades, purchases or cosmetic items. Rivals add depth to the game, with unique backgrounds, cutscenes and voiceovers, serving as recurring challenging opponents. Player progression is reflected in the evolving headquarters, with three increasingly beautiful environments and new team members.

Read the official blog for more RIDE 5 career mode details. The game releases for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on August 24.
