RIDE 4 is scheduled to arrive on October 8 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, but todays announcement is all about next-gen. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X version is scheduled to arrive on January 21.
The PlayStation 5 version delivers 60FPS at 4K resolution, which we would assume is the same on the Xbox Series X, since a blog hasn’t been released specific to that version yet.
Loading times will be significantly reduced, thanks to the PS5’s SSD. Not only will load times be reduced, but a faster stream of textures will immerse players in the environments, so your riding experience will be more precise and natural.
RIDE 4 on the PlayStation 5 will also allow fans to experience something new on the DualSense wireless controller. Gas and brake levers will have their own resistance to transmit the same sensations as their real-life counterparts, while haptic feedback lets players feel their vehicle’s vibrations, just like when they ride on the streets.
