Milestone announced back in September, the next-gen version of RIDE 4 would arrive on January 21, featuring dynamic resolution up to 4K/ 60 FPS with up to 20 bikes, both online and offline.

If you already purchased RIDE 4 on the PlayStation 4, you can download the PlayStation 5 version at no additional cost until April 30. All of your DLC will be included. The same goes for Xbox One gamers, you will be able to automatically download the Xbox Series X|S version of the game at no additional cost on January 21.
Today, the team revealed some more details, specifically for the PlayStation 5’s DualSense controllers and its advanced haptic feedback system.
Adaptive Triggers
- THROTTLE: The throttle simulates the progressive resistance of the real grip. This function is only available when the command is associated with an adaptive trigger (R2 / L2).
- BRAKE: The brake simulates the progressive resistance of the real lever. This function is only available when the command is associated with an adaptive trigger (R2 / L2).
- TCS / LIMITER: Throttle vibration simulates the traction control system (TCS) intervention or engine limiter. This function is available only when the command is associated with an adaptive trigger (R2 / L2).
- ABS: The brake vibration simulates the intervention of the anti-lock braking system (ABS). This function is available only when the command is associated with an adaptive trigger (R2 / L2).
Motorcycle Effect
- ENGINE: Engine vibration at rest, acceleration from standstill and reaching high rpm.
- GEAR SHIFT: Gear shift pedal simulation
- BACKFIRE: Backfire blast.
- LOSS OF GRIP: Loss of front and rear tire grip.
Ambient Effect
- SURFACES: Differentiated simulation for the main contact surfaces outside the track (curbs, sand, grass).
- RAIN: Simulation of rain drops that varies in intensity according to the speed of bike.
- OPPONENTS: Collisions or proximity with opponents. The wireless controller returns a localized vibration corresponding to the position of the opponents with respect to the player’s bike.
- FALL: Collisions with terrain and track elements following a a fall.
