Project CARS 3 Announced - Here's the Trailer, Early Gameplay Footage & Some Details

Slightly Mad Studios has announced Project CARS 3 and posted a brand new trailer. The game is scheduled to arrive in the summer for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. No word on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, but it will probably be announced at a later date. We’ll keep you in the loop.

Own, upgrade and customize hundreds of elite-brand road and race cars.

Career mode has been rebuilt completely from scratch, with the intention of giving players a better sense of progression. In your career you’ll progress through ten car classes, earning XP as you go, unlocking upgrade parts and new events. But, cleverly, if you don’t like a particular type of event, you can spend in-game currency (earned by playing, there are no microtransactions) to skip over it. This is so players don’t feel tied down, forced to drive cars they don’t enjoy.

Plus, there’s been a big focus on improving the realism and intensity of the race – particularly trying to mirror the sensation you feel when playing the game in VR – including new post-processing and motion blur effects, camera shakes and collision damage experiences.

GameRiot has provided some exclusive Project CARS 3 gameplay footage, along with some details. So make sure to check it out and post your thoughts!
