According to the roadmap of events, eFootball will launch in early autumn with the all-new game engine rollout with local and cross-generation matches. Later in the year online leagues, a team building mode, cross-platform matches for console and PC users and the match pass system is scheduled to arrive.

In the winter time frame they will kickoff their eSports Tournaments and bring in cross-platform support for consoles, PC and mobile devices. They also plan to have mobile controller support at that time. Konami also plans to sell optional DLC in the future to include new matches, different modes and features.
