MX Nitro threw a lot at me from the start, and after hours spent with the title, I still felt there was plenty more coming my way. Whether I was losing hours in career mode, racing online against real opponents, competing in race-now events, perusing through the in-game shop for gear, or in practice mode honing my stunt skills, the game offered me a solid amount of options that catered to my mood at the time.
Sometimes I want to lose hours at a time in career mode or racing online, sometimes I want a mindless but fun experience that doesn’t require much thought. This is an area where MX Nitro shines as I was able to find something that suited my current mood or whatever time constraints I was under.
If you’ve ever had the opportunity to watch a Copa Libertadores match, you have witnessed the unrivaled passion from the fans to the coaches and players. The stadiums are boisterous, the pitches are often littered with debris, and the action is fast and furious. Unfortunately, FIFA 20 did little to capture the essence of this experience. Missing are chants and pyrotechnics, two things that give this tournament and soccer in South American the flair that defines a continent. The overlays, donning a sleek black and gold finish, do look nice and there are a few new overlays, but overall the matches don’t feel too different from what we’re accustomed to.
Another SDS stream is in the books and the amount of content dropped is nearly impossible to comprehend. However, we have compiled all your Diamond Dynasty information here. This year will bring an immense amount of new card types, new pack types, and new ways to earn rare cards in Diamond Dynasty and beyond.
Choice is once again the name of the game. You’ll have the ability to go in several different directions in how to play the game, how to earn cards and which players you want to anchor your squad. Lineup variation should once again be at an all-time high. There’s several ways to pave your own path toward program star rewards, including missions, Conquest, Showdown, statistical achievements, collections and more.
Wrestling games occupy a unique space in the video game world. Some classify them as fighting games, and others think of them as sports games. And who’s to say who’s correct? This isn’t the tired “is wrestling a sport?” debate, because of course in order to be a great wrestler you have to be a tremendous athlete.
That doesn’t change the fact that wrestling match outcomes are predetermined. But inside the video game world, the matches are presented as legitimate competitions where you are trying to win an actual fight. Sure, some recent releases have started to implement match ratings or fan reactions as another measuring stick for success, but the ultimate goal has always been to win the match.
