It’s an intriguing time for skateboarding fans. Skater XL and Session (which we have written about in the past as well) have created this moment in time where all of the sudden skateboarding fans will have at least two new options after not having any real options for the last decade. Both games have been out in early access on Steam for many months now, and it’s been important for both games to go through that process to find an audience and figure out what they will be in their more complete form. After all, what do people want from skating games in 2020 after not really having a viable option since Skate 3 many years ago?
…htown5933 has posted a roster on PS4 that includes free agency and all NFL Draft picks through round 4, plus another 29 players beyond the fourth round (26 draft picks and 3 UDFAs). So this roster includes 175 rookies overall.
Roster Update: 04/26/20 * QB Jameis Winston signed to the Saints * SS Kavon Frazier signed to the Dolphins * RB Samaje Perine released from the Dolphins * C Justin Britt released from the Seahawks * RG D.J. Fluker released from the Seahawks * DE Keionta Davis released from the Patriots * ROLB Terrill Hanks released from the Dolphins * FS Montre Hartage released from the Dolphins * SS Tray Matthews released from the Steelers
KiffinWillWin is working on a multi-faceted update as there’s a little more wiggle room on PC to make changes to the rosters. It’s taking a little longer because there’s more to the equation — and people work at their own pace — so I want to highlight what’s available already and what will be available down the line, according to KiffinWillWin.
SnowRunner is not going to be for everyone. In fact, I would consider this title to be more of a simulation and less of a sport. It’s really a combination of multiple titles, but in the end, it is a slow-moving, methodical off-road simulation that has a sprinkle of sports and outdoors tossed into the mixed. If you’re looking for a time killer that will test you and your resolve quite often, then you could do much worse than having SnowRunner in the rotation.
Now, obviously a large reason for these kind of shenanigans is so that 2K can make money. I get that. But if you have to go down that road, how about dropping another opal Kevin Durant who can play SG/SF with some upgraded badges? That could be fun. People would still spend their money, but then maybe the older KD opal would drop in price. However, since there still aren’t a lot of viable, elite wing options, KD’s opal is actually going up in price. On PS4 today it was pushing 600K! The T-Mac opal (which should have dropped because of the Triple Threat situation, more on that later) is actually climbing as well.
