These weekly roster updates include changes to player ratings, based off of the Conference Championship results (for the most part), updated depth charts and injuries for all 32 teams. As always, player likeness updates only arrive in title updates, not roster updates.

To honor the legendary career of the current and 2x Madden Cover athlete, Madden NFL 22 will be upgrading Brady’s rating within the game to a 99.

This marks the second time this season Brady will join the coveted 99 Club, the first coming after he set the NFL record for all-time career passing yards in October. Brady becomes the first Tampa Bay Buccaneer to join the 99 Club since Derrick Brooks did so in Madden 24. While his initial Madden rating in 2001 was a 57, the future hall-of-famer has reached the 99 rating mark several times, including Madden 09, Madden 12, Madden 18, Madden 19, and Madden 22.

Brady capped the final season of his career leading the NFL in touchdown passes and passing yards. In addition to a bump in his rating, Brady will be featured in a limited time release program within Madden Ultimate Team.
