As the NHL season enters its big-boy stretch post All-Star Weekend, it’s worth pointing to a set of NHL 24 sliders that you maybe have not scoped out yet.
The OS slider community for EA’s NHL series is on the smaller side among the major games on our site, but it’s a passionate group. We’ve previously highlighted AlTito’s sliders, and longtime OS member Fiddy has been tweaking his own set over multiple months.
With that in mind, here’s his quick explanation:
Welp, what the heck, first slider set posted since NHL 19. I feel like the way this game is going to play this year overall is gonna suck me back into Franchise mode.
Remember I use a simple scale to try to keep things in check and not develop Slideritis. (0/12/25/37/50/62/75/87/100)
With that said, the below set up is not based off of that type of scale yet, might not even have to. I’m using an averaged out base set here between the old sliders “Traditional, Competitive, and Simulation.” I may use the scale to tweak a few sliders here and there as I see fit.

Chase has written at Operation Sports for over 10 years, and he's been playing sports games way longer than that. He loves just about any good sports game but gravitates to ones that coincide with the ongoing real seasons of the NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL, and so on. As of now, he's gearing up for EA Sports College Football 25 and what should be a wild summer while still dabbling in the latest Top Spin and MLB The Show.
