EA SPORTS NHL 20 continues to deliver an immersive and realistic Franchise Mode. Building off of last year’s all-new scouting system, NHL 20 introduces coaches, line chemistry, Scheme Fit, a brand-new conversation mode and more.
New to the game, NHL 20 will generate a variety of coaches at the start of Franchise Mode, each with their own set of ratings and roles, along with the task of balancing team morale and chemistry. Coaches will be rated for their offense, defense, powerplay, penalty kill, teach and influence, all of which will have a direct impact on the team. Coaches will also have to handle the everyday tasks of real life bench bosses, interviewing assistant coaches, conversing with the GM and scouts, and making sure the best lineup is put on the ice each and every game.
Also new to Franchise Mode in NHL 20 is Trade Finder, allowing users to make faster trades without going back and forth with trade proposals between teams. Scouting reports have been advanced, giving users all the information they need to make sure players fit the team’s scheme.
More information about the Franchise Mode can be found on the official NHL 20 blog post.
NHL 20 is available on September 13, 2019 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
