NBA 2K20 MyTeam: Two 40-Point Challenges

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

The Moments Challenges have been updated to reflect two recent 40-point games in the NBA. This is also the first time a Moments of the Week player is one of the requirements for a challenge.

First up, we have Moments of the Week Brandon Ingram needing to be used in a challenge. Ingram scored 40 in a loss to the Nets last night, and you will need to re-create that stat line but this time win the game. This is a tricky one for me. The Ingram card is an amethyst and had dipped in price, so now I will be curious to see how high it rises in response to this challenge. Getting a Deluxe Heat Check pack is a decent reward. It’s more than you usually get for these challenges, but will it be enough to really move Ingram’s value? On top of that, will this make the value of Moments cards hold a little extra value longer? I would be all for cards holding value longer, so that will be what I most closely track. If you already locked in the collection or had Ingram, then this is an obvious challenge to complete either way.

The other Moments Challenge is a more traditional one that is related to Devin Booker’s 40-point game in a win over the Sixers. You need to use two Heat Check players in your lineup, but otherwise just get 40 points with any player to knock this out. This challenge is on Superstar so it’s a little bit more of a struggle than usual, but it should still be manageable for those who want 6 tokens.

Lastly, the Triple Threat offline rewards were changed. I did not get a chance to look at the changes but seems like people online are relatively happy with them. I will be sure to put them in tomorrow’s update.
