NBA 2K20 MyTeam: Andre Iguodala Spotlight Series Player Reviews (Part 4)
We have provided an overall guide to the Andre Iguodala Spotlight Series here, and so it’s time to actually check out all the cards now that we’ve had some time to look at them more closely.
Lastly, we look at the reward cards from this set, including Iguodala and Rick Barry.

Iguodala evolves all the way to pink diamond, but man oh man will it be a grind. At that point, he has 83 mid-range, 82 3-point shooting, 89 speed, 88 acceleration, 92 driving layup, 95 driving dunk, 85 speed with ball, 80 interior defense, 95 perimeter defense, 95 help defense, 87 pick and roll defense, 95 lateral quickness, 94 pass perception, 87 reaction time, 90 steal and 92 shot contest.
At pink diamond, he has a ton of HOF defense badges. He starts off with gold Clamps, Heart Crusher, Intimidator, Pogo Stick, Off-Ball Prest, Ankle Breaker, Trapper, Pick Dodger and Quick Draw.
This card is extremely good, but the grind is real. How much you like his shot will also play into these things (obviously) but I generally find he has an easy shot to handle. I hoped for a little more on his 3-point shooting at pink diamond, but it’s fair to cap it there. The real nice thing about this card is he already starts off as very usable on defense and as a slasher, so it does make knocking out these evolution requirements less painful.
Iguodala is a 2K legend for a reason, and this card is worthy of his status in the franchise.
Rick Barry is your reward, and he gets 96 mid-range, 89 3-point shooting, 86 speed, 85 acceleration, 94 driving layup, 85 post moves, 81 speed with ball, 85 ball handling, 80 interior defense, 84 lateral quickness, 90 reaction time, 94 steal, 92 shot contest, 84 offensive rebounding and 85 defensive rebounding.
For HOF badges, it’s Consistent Finisher, Contact Finisher, Fancy Footwork, Relentless Finisher, Difficult Shots, Flexible Release, green Machine, Tireless Shooter and Volume Shooter. And for gold badges, it’s Dropstepper, Pro Touch, Catch and Shoot, Corner Specialist, Clutch Shooter, Deep Fades, Pick and Popper, Quick Draw, Steady Shooter, Clamps, Pick Dodger and Trapper.
He’s 6-foot-7 so PF is a little dicey, and here’s the thing: I don’t like his shot. It’s slow and just a little too hard to time. This is not a new problem for Rick Barry cards, but the same issue remains this season. It’s a shame because he’s got really solid defense and the shooting is very good — and amazing if you do want to use him at PF.
All that being said, it’s a little bit of a lackluster reward because the shooting motion does not work for me. It does not mean you all will have the same difficulties, but I just want to put it out there.
Collison has 95 mid-range, 89 3-point shooting, 93 speed, 93 acceleration, 85 driving layup, 93 speed with ball, 86 ball handling, 90 passing accuracy, 87 perimeter defense, 85 help defense, 80 pick and roll defense, 88 lateral quickness and 85 stealing.
He gets HOF Needle Threader. For gold badges, it’s Dimer, Flashy Passer, Floor General, Handles For Days, Unpluckable, Interceptor, Pick Dodger, Pick Pocket, Quick Draw, Corner Specialist, Catch and Shoot and Flexible Release.
I find Collison cards generally play above their ratings, and this one already has good ratings. This is a very solid two-way player and a solid reward for getting through 12 challenges. I absolutely will be using this card in some of my budget lineups.
Lue has 84 mid-range, 86 3-point shooting, 92 speed, 92 acceleration, 92 speed with ball, 86 ball handling and 87 lateral quickness.
For gold badges, he’s got Pro Touch, Catch and Shoot, Corner Specialist, Difficult Shots, Flexible Release, green Machine, Quick Draw, Bail Out, Flashy Passer, Floor General, Quick First Step and Unpluckable.
It’s a shame the defense is not remotely good enough, otherwise this would be another solid budget reward. Still, Lue is very fast in this form, and the offense overall is rather solid minus his finishing ability. I won’t use the card even as a bench option, but if Lue gets a better card, he may actually be worth scoping out.
