NBA 2K20 MyTeam: 100 Evolution Cards in Evo Super Packs, Plus Evolutions Added to Many Outdated Players

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Beyond the Spotlight Super Sim single-player challenges, this latest NBA 2K20 MyTeam update will probably be 2K’s newest hit with most of the community. The Evo Super Pack is sort of whatever in all of this, but the fact that 2K has added evolution elements to a ton of outdated players both in the token market and elsewhere should really help add some life to the game for those who felt it was silly to even spend tokens on players who weren’t even meta.

This means players like the Triple Threat final reward (Dominique Wilkins) and token market Grant Hill now can get major boosts. This also means existing players like Bol Bol and old favorites like diamond Michael Ray Richardson also get boosts. After looking through some of the evolution requirements, a lot of them are rather manageable. Some of them, like David Robinson and Dominique Wilkins, can even be accomplished with one very good game. The evolution additions seem to be added to players between the diamond and galaxy opal ranges.

All in all, you’re going to want to look through your collections and then also assess what new players you may want to scope out with these added evolution requirements because you could now have some sleeping giants already on your squad (DBG also has an initial look at the update as well). This is also going to create even more chaos on a market that was already a mess, so that will be interesting to watch.

Lastly, there is a new Earl Boykins locker code that gives you a shot at snagging pink diamond Early Boykins.
