MotoGP 22 Trailer - MotoGP Academy, Revised Tutorial & Riding Analysis System
The latest MotoGP 22 trailer highlights MotoGP Academy, revised tutorial and the riding analysis system. MotoGP Academy is for racers that consider themselves an expert.
This new mode will put you in front of the 21 official MotoGP tracks. Each of them will offer you 5 different time challenges, the first 4 linked to individual sectors of the circuit and the last to the whole track. For each challenge you’ll have to beat 3 times: bronze, silver and gold. You’ll need to get at least a bronze in the first 4 challenges to be able to access the last step on the complete circuit. On-screen tips will help you to better face these challenges, and when you’ll reach the best time, a ghost will be generated and become your next goal.
For beginners, the revised tutorial will get you familiar with the bike and provide more effective support.
You will have to face some racetrack tests with several goals to achieve, following specific rules. Initially, you will have to learn the basic controls, follow the ideal trajectory with the curve indicators, respect the penalty system and overtake your teammate. Then you can move on to more advanced challenges, where you’ll have to learn a more strategic approach, checking fuel consumption, tire wear and brakes, managing many other technical aspects as a real rider would.
The riding analysis system comes into play after setting up the race options and riding assistance based on your skills.
Each of your performances in Time Attack, Single Grand Prix, Championship, Career and NINE Season 2009, will be associated with an analysis that will evaluate your experience and your ability to overcome the several obstacles that can happen in a race. It will be the game itself to evaluate if the Race Options and Riding Helps you have chosen have been set with the difficulty level that suits you best and to give you the right suggestions to take the most appropriate actions.
MotoGP 22 is scheduled to release on April 21 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Steam. Of note, split-screen is not supported on Nintendo Switch.

It felt like I had been reborn and was learning to retake my first steps. I was wobbling left and overcompensating to wobble to the right, but eventually it became clear that I might be able to pull some stability off, if only for a fleeting moment. The truth is taking a spin around the track is hard in MotoGP 22, but as I remembered how to properly lean into turns and let gravity take over, it all started coming back to me. MotoGP 22 requires you to understand that racing is about timing, finesse, strategy, and aggressiveness in small doses at the right time.
