More Games Added to Xbox Backward Compatibility Program - Including BCFx, Skate 2, Ridge Racer 6 & More
Microsoft has released more games for their Xbox backward compatibility program to celebrate 20 years of Xbox. The added titles feature improved visual quality with Auto HDR on supported displays. It automatically adds HDR enhancements on the Xbox Series X|S, including FPS Boost for some games.
- Original Xbox games will experience a resolution increase on all Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles on supported displays.
- 4x resolution increase on Xbox Series X and Xbox One X
- 3x resolution increase on Xbox Series S
- 2x resolution increase on Xbox One S and Xbox One
In total 76 games have been added to the program. The full list can be seen here, but we’ve listed the sports games that have been included in today’s update.
- Bankshot Billiards 2
- Black College Football Xperience: Doug Williams Edition
- MX vs. ATV Alive
- MX vs. ATV Untamed
- Ridge Racer 6
- Skate 2
Of note, the Skate 2 online servers will be turned off on December 10, 2021.
