MLB The Show 24 Storyline Featuring Willie Mays and Rickwood Field Arrives June 20

In celebration of the upcoming game between the Giants and Cardinals at Rickwood Field, MLB The Show 24 has announced a brand new Storyline launching on June 20. This Storyline honors Willie Mays, who began his career in the Negro Leagues playing for the Black Barons, whose home field was Rickwood.

The new Storyline follows the same format as the others: users play as Willie Mays at Rickwood Field, with short-form documentaries narrated by Bob Kendrick detailing Mays’ career between gameplay moments. As users progress through the Storyline, they’ll have the opportunity to unlock special rewards, including Rickwood Field, Black Barons uniforms, a young Willie Mays, and more. This final content drop will conclude MLB The Show Storylines: The Negro Leagues Season 2.
