MLB The Show 24 PlayStation Tournaments Begin on March 19

MLB The Show 24 PlayStation Tournaments are scheduled to begin on March 19 allowing players to compete in daily tournaments for Stubs, PlayStation 5 Tournament Packs and exclusive avatars. Launch tournaments will run through April 15, during which each participating player will obtain an exclusive Vladimir Guerrero Jr. launch avatar, while the winners will be awarded a prestigious launch avatar. Daily tournaments are scheduled all year long with increased prizing on weekends. Head over to the official site for the full schedule and prizes.

To sign up on PS5, navigate to the MLB The Show 24 Game Hub on your PS5 home screen and scroll down to the “Upcoming Tournaments” carousel. Select a tournament that fits your schedule, and select Register. A notification will appear when it is time to join your match. Results are automatically recorded, and winning matches will secure your place in the next round until you reach the final. Tournament details will be listed on the tournament card.

Information regarding the upcoming MLB The Show 24 Championship Series is set to be unveiled on April 10. Speaking of which, SDS released a video spotlighting Kriner and his journey to becoming a three-time MLB The Show champion at just 18 years old.

 

As a reminder, the final MLB The Show 24 Feature Premiere is tomorrow at 6:00 PM ET on YouTube and Twitch.

The MLB The Show 24 Standard Edition will release on March 19 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. It will also be included with Game Pass on Day One. The MLB The Show 24 Negro Leagues Edition costs $124.99 with early access starting on March 15. The MVP and Digital Deluxe Editions will also get 4 days of early access. Also of note, the MLB The Show 24 Negro Leagues Edition won’t include the disc on PlayStation 5, but will on Xbox Series X|S.
