MLB The Show 24 Negro Leagues Edition Won't Include Disc on PlayStation 5, But Will on Xbox Series X|S

While it might have been glossed over by some fans, the OS community noticed the Negro Leagues Edition of MLB The Show 24 will not include the disc on PlayStation 5. Players will receive a Limited Edition Physical Steelbook with a download code instead.

It seems odd to label it as a “Collector’s Edition” yet omit the disc, especially when the Xbox Series X|S Negro Leagues Edition will include it.

We understand that physical discs are gradually becoming less common. Players on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are limited to digital copies of MLB The Show 24. But this is a head scratcher.
