MLB The Show 24 Directional/Classic Split-Difficulty Sliders From Rmiok222

With MLB The Show 24 sliders, we’ve highlighted various versions this year from the forums, but one type we have not looked at much yet deals with hitting and pitching that deviates from the default settings. In this case, it is directional hitting and classic pitching.

OS user Rmiok222 has a set out that deals with these settings. They are Hall of Fame hitting and Legend pitching with directional hitting and classic pitching. If you don’t know, classic pitching is based around ratings more or less, and then directional hitting is timing-based but with you able to influence your swing trajectory. It’s a more “sim” approach in some regards to use these settings and a little less taxing on the reflexes.

With classic pitching, it’s really used to make the attributes of your pitchers shine and increase variability as you’re just picking a spot in the zone and then throwing the ball. Directional hitting is utilized more than classic pitching because it’s a nice middle ground of having attributes matter but also still gives you a healthy amount of agency at the plate (still need a good eye and so on).

With that in mind, here are the sliders.
