SDS shared their latest MLB The Show 23 video today with cover athlete Jazz Chisholm and game design manager Drew Irvine. The video mostly highlights presentation updates for the game this year. The same commentary team is back again this year with many more hours of recording time.

The updated presentation of MLB The Show 23 features fresh audio recordings sourced from the field and stands, capturing new chants, cheers, bat swings, glove pops and foul tips snagged by the catcher. In addition, the game’s music and crowd noises have been enhanced and volume increased. Audio variations will also be heard in different games, like minor league and spring training games for example.
Furthermore, the development team has incorporated numerous additions to the visual elements of the game, including hundreds of new Jumbotron videos, select stadium exteriors and jet flyovers. Additionally, player and crowd emotions have been expanded, with a particular emphasis on their reactions to significant plays and game-changing moments.

MLB The Show 23 will release on March 28 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. It’s also coming to Xbox Game Pass for the third consecutive year on Day One. For those of you getting either of the Collector’s Editions, you will get four days of early access starting on March 24.
