Sony San Diego Studio has announced the technical test for MLB The Show 22 will start on February 17. At roughly 10:00 AM PT through February 23 players can stress test the servers with online match-making, cross-platform play and the new online co-op mode.
No signups will be required. Everyone is eligible on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One or Nintendo Switch. Fans can begin downloading the technical test sometime tomorrow.
UPDATE (2-16) Players can download the technical test now and mess around in custom practice, options explorer and play a game until all options are unlocked tomorrow. You can play in Dodger Stadium, Yankee Stadium, Petco Park and Tropicana Field with a game between the Astros vs. Braves.
UPDATE (2-17) The tech test is now live.

The Standard Edition of MLB The Show 22 releases on April 5 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and for the first time, Nintendo Switch. It will also be available on Day One for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
Fans that purchase the Digital Deluxe or MVP Editions will get a four day head start with early access starting on April 1 at 12:00 AM ET.
