Team Affinity 5 for MLB The Show 21 is the last humongous content drop for the ’21 season. It’s been a great year, and we’ll still have a 10th Inning Program, but this feels like the end of the year for the most part. The structure is similar to Team Affinity 4, with now Finest cards taking the lead as the top rewards throughout the six divisions. There are four levels of exchanges on top of a Conquest map and other ways to get to the end of the rewards path for each division. Below you can find every player card, attribute, and quirk, plus you can see what the reward structure is for each division.

Between the collections and the four exchanges, you can complete 30% of each division for 90 of the 300 points. You can then get 45 points for doing the Conquest map (and that applies to both the AL and NL division), which gets you to 135 points. From there, you have a Showdown, missions, moments, or March to October to fill out the rest of the program.
I have bolded below where you get the Team Affinity Season 5 players. You can use ShowZone to keep an eye on what the best exchange prices are as well — but as always you should have bought ahead of time. That said, it’s not as cost prohibitive to buy players for exchanges as it was for some of the other Team Affinity programs, most likely because fewer people are playing now (or finally learned their lesson and bought ahead of time).

Bottom Line
You’ll get all five Finest players well before you finish the program for each division, which is nice considering the Ken Griffey Jr. collection is part of this new Team Affinity 5 set as well.
I do think a couple divisions stand out from the rest. The NL East has a long-awaited Freddie Freeman card. You also get the best form of Juan Soto and his great swing, and then early-season favorite Zack Wheeler gets an updated card. Sandy Alcantara is also underrated in my book.
The NL West is another division I’m excited about because it includes Fernando Tatis Jr. and one of my favorite Show players in Max Muncy.
The NL Central is in a bit of weird spot since the players aren’t the biggest names in that division, and we’ve gotten good cards for all of them besides Jonathan India.
The AL East looks like another repetitive pack besides an updated Gerritt Cole.
The AL Central is interesting to me because we get a Clase card, plus maybe a Moncada card that can find its form and return us to the glory days when he was mashing in The Show.
And finally with the AL West, I think the pack is buoyed by a very good Kyle Tucker card.
