Headliners Set 28 Future Stars Austin Martin replaces Awards Manny Machado in Headliners packs today. He is a 97 overall.

I would classify this Austin Martin card as interesting due to his positional flexibility. Looking at the attributes alone, he probably would not reach intriguing status, but there’s enough here with positional flexibility to take a second look. He’s got 99 contact vs. RHP, 116 contact vs. LHP, 77 power vs. RHP, and 96 power vs. LHP. He has 91 vision and 98 discipline, so he’s more of a two-hole hitter or you stick him towards the back of a lineup. The fielding and speed stats are good but not elite, so this is why playing all three outfield positions and 2B/3B/SS at least keeps him in the running for a bench spot.

I buy every Future Stars card because I just love the card art, but this is not the best Future Stars card out there. This feels more like the Logan Gilbert that was in Headliners packs a couple weeks ago where it’s not quite worth opening a Headliners pack for the card itself.
