Headliners Set 14 Postseason Mickey Mantle replaced All-Star Pedro Martinez in Headliners packs today. Postseason Mickey Mantle is a 95 overall.

If you played The Show last year, then you’re probably familiar with Mickey Mantle at this point. Not all his cards are going to be good as the 99 collection reward from MLB The Show 20, but point being you should know whether you like his swing or not at this point. This version comes with his usual absurd ratings versus LHP, but the 60 vision and middling contact versus RHP does bring down his stock a bit. He has 80 speed and solid all-around fielding so you can play him at any of the three outfield positions, but somehow this 95 overall does feel a little underwhelming.

That being said, I’m sure he’ll still play above his ratings since most people really enjoy his swing. Plus, I love the card art on this one, which is a nice added flourish.
