MLB The Show 20: Sounds of the Show For All 30 MLB Teams

Sounds of the Show remains a great feature in MLB The Show 20. It’s not perfect or the most user-friendly interface, but with some patience you can customize the entire MLB to have authentic crowd noise, walk-up music and so on. The current folks doing the heavy lifting here are Lowlight and BU (and before them CujoMatty and many others in the community). This work can be grueling so their efforts (and those of the entire community) are truly appreciated.

You can get a look at the work in the Sounds of the Show thread. In it, you will see Google Drive links for all 30 teams, plus some free agents and legends. When you download these files, you’ll have to then transfer them to your PS4 and set the time stamps for the various files. The file names should mostly help guide you and inform you where you should be plugging in each file within Sounds of the Show. It’s not that hard once you get the hang of it, it’s just time consuming.

While we obviously do not have an MLB season right now, this means the “preseason” version of the Sounds of the Show are relevant and up to date for what’s available to us. Regardless, the files are always being improved and updated, so be sure to check that thread for updates in the coming weeks and months.

Lastly, I know it might seem like a daunting task to even put in files for all these players and teams, but I promise you it is so rewarding and cool if you do it. It’s incredible how much having unique walk-up music and stadium sounds adds to the franchise experience.

(PS, if The Show ever makes it to PC, it will truly open up a whole new world of possibilities for Sounds of the Show.)
