MLB The Show 20: Minor Tweaks to Diamond Dynasty With Server Update

Two small changes were implemented this morning during the server update for MLB The Show 20. These will just impact Diamond Dynasty users.

Server Update at 3 AM PT on 4/3/2020.
Please complete all games prior to that time.

– Starters will now have slightly more energy in 3 inning games, and will regen energy slightly slower in ranked seasons
– Fixed the Ranked Seasons WHIP/ERA display (now shows the full number)

A little more focus on starter stamina makes sense for the three-inning games as starters carry more weight when drafting them in Battle Royale this year. Plus, if you want people to keep drafting starting pitchers, then you do need to make them seem a little more worthwhile. The knock-on issue might be that starters can be used more frequently now in consecutive games, but that’s probably not a bad thing either if we stick with the same logic.

The other fix was purely a visual tweak and does not impact anything else in the game for pitchers.
