Headliners Set 6 Signature Series John Franco replaces Breakout Ty Cobb in Headliners packs today. Signature Series John Franco is a 90 overall, and his main pitch is a 73 mph screwball. He has a sinker, slider, fastball and circle change as his other pitches. We already had a silver version of Franco in the game, but this is obviously a major upgrade.

For the first time with the Headliners, Franco is not the top-rated closer in the community market as that honor still belongs to Headliners Set 3 Eric Gagne. However, Franco should remain one of the more unique closers in the game all year. After all, a left-handed pitcher with a screwball sort of locks him into that role. His fastball is still going to top out around 92-93 so the pitch speed mix should be quite good as well.
