Many folks who pre-ordered specific version of EA Sports College Football 25 can now play it on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
We’ve tracked the various versions of the game here, and basically if you bought one of the more premium versions of the game (the ones that cost more than the base retail version), then you should be able to boot up now. There’s also reports that GameStop sent out many codes to e-mails as of today if you pre-ordered through them.
If you did not pre-order but still want to play the game right now, I believe you should still be able to buy one of the “premium” versions of the game and unlock it today. In addition, EA Play’s trial was set to begin tomorrow, but it appears it’s active now if you want to go that route.
The servers are up and down right now (at least on PS5), but you can still boot the game up. We’ll keep an eye on the servers on both consoles and see how things progress as we go through today. You can head to the forums and give impressions, share images, and so on now as well.
In short, we’ve made it (well, many of us have so far at least). We’ll see everyone else on the “official” release date of July 19.
