Madden NFL 25 Free Play Weekend Available Through September 8

Madden NFL 25 free play weekend has arrived allowing fans to play a trial version of the game through September 8. The limited time free trial is only available on Xbox and PlayStation platforms.

Trial time is subject to change and may vary by platform; see retailer site for details. Persistent internet connection, EA account, and acceptance of EA User Agreement (terms.ea.com) and Privacy & Cookie Policy (privacy.ea.com) required to play. Access on console platforms may require a premium console account or subscription (sold separately). Additional in-game content may be available for purchase and is available for continued use in the full game; purchased content will not be refunded upon completion of the trial. Trial can be played once per EA account.

The team added the revamped passing mechanics and the switch stick delay feature from College Football 25 in the most recent patch along with some player likeness updates, new gear, over 6,000 newly recorded lines from the commentary teams and more.

They also acknowledged the ongoing concerns with pass coverage and are planning significant improvements in a future update. They are specifically looking into hard flats, cover 3 deep zone and press animations just to name a few.
