The Madden 25 marketing team has had to start and stop its rollout, but it appears the delayed Madden 25 reveal trailer is finally set to go live at 11 a.m. EST on Thursday morning.
Folks on the forums have been having a little fun poking at EA for the confusing way Madden 25 has been hyped so far because whatever “the plan” may have been has not gone according to it so far. On June 18, EA tweeted that the beta for Madden 25 had been extended to Thursday and the reveal trailer would be released “soon” — thus missing the planned June 18 date.
For whatever reasons EA decided to go this route, it’s moot as I don’t believe EA will be delaying things anymore. Their YouTube channel has been updated with a countdown and premiere date for the “official reveal trailer” for Madden 25.
BOOM Tech remains the hype phrase most being touted by EA (and how they’re trying to separate EA Sports College Football 25 from Madden 25 so far), so I would expect a lot of big hits, missed tackles, and open-field moves by running backs in this trailer.
We’ll be back later on Thursday with the trailer and likely some thoughts on it as well.
