Madden 22 Sliders App and (Traditional) Sliders From Mike Lowe

I’ve showcased Mike Lowe’s work before with sliders, and while this is more of the same in one respect, he’s also been putting in a lot of work to put out a slider app that you can use with Madden 22 (you could also use it with MLB The Show 21). It’s a cool concept because as is the case with most sliders, while you sometimes build them for mass consumption, the sliders first and foremost have to make sense to the individual making them. This means that when you look for sliders within the community, you will inevitably end up tweaking them in some way to fit your own personal preferences.

In other words, a slider app has a real chance to remove that sticking point in a sense because you can input your own stats from the game to then have the app spit out sliders that fit how to tweak your experience. It’s a great idea, and it’s not surprising that Mike would try something like this out.

Mike Lowe Madden 22 Slider App

madden 22 roster update week 2

Mike put a ton of time into the app, so you can scope that out for Madden 22 if you think this might make sense for you. Here is his pitch:

Well, this took a hell of a lot of time (and learning some new coding language), but I’m excited and proud to officially present to you: The Mike Lowe Madden 22 Slider App!

Please take your time to navigate and report any issues. The gist is that you enter your user data and the CPU data to generate a slider set custom for your level of play.

User data and CPU data are on different “pages” so be sure and do one area at a time as I have it set to reset upon leaving each area. It’ll make more sense as you navigate around.

I’d love to hear your feedback, and if you’d like to donate to my efforts and keeping this app alive, there’s a link in the app under Support.

Thank you, I’m excited to get this done.

You can also scope out some shirts he has to help support the venture as well.

Mike Lowe Madden 22 Sliders

That said, if you want to stick with the more traditional route of sliders, Mike is back with his first set of sliders for Madden 22. Here is his general goal with the sliders this year:

This set will work in broadcast view, standard, or any other you’d like to use as any differences have far more to do with your skill and comfort level. Like anything, practice helps.

The goal of this set is to use data collection and analysis to work toward finding a slider set that matches the output of simulated games (and hopefully real life).

Overview

V1.2:

  • 12 minutes quarters
  • No defensive switch (or rare)
  • No user catch (or rare)
  • I control a LB or DB
  • Will work in full games as well as Play The Moments
  • Evaluated and adjusted for added realism and accuracy against simulated CFM games, and hopefully the NFL
  • Main menu settings do not interact with CFM settings. Period. Full stop. I have confirmation from the Madden team (and from years of personal experience) that it’s nothing but placebo/statistical variance.

Realistic inaccurate pass:

Feedback

Feel free to head to the thread to give feedback (or thanks) and scope out the sliders if you think they might work for you.
