Just 30 Days Until EA Sports College Football 25 Releases

We’ve brought back the countdown on the forums, and we’ve now hit 30 days until the official release of EA Sports College Football 25 on July 19.

Of course, early access starts three days before that date, but we’re going with the official release for our countdown. Since the last time we checked in with the countdown, things have been mostly quiet. We kicked off the countdown to coincide with EA’s first big gameplay breakdown, and we’re still waiting for EA to give us deeper breakdowns on things like dynasty mode. This delay might in part be due to EA trying to give a little spotlight to Madden 25, albeit that rollout has been a bit confusing.

Either way, in terms of great college football players who wear the number 30, the list does not have tons of heavy hitters, at least not from the modern era. A couple of the names from the last 20 years that come to mind would be the tank himself LaRon Landry and then Chubba Hubbard coming off a great run at Oklahoma State University. But there is an easy pick here for the easy choice to use for the Day 30 countdown and it’s the Heisman winning running back out of Nebraska, Mike Rozier.

Rozier was so impressive at Nebraska he eventually bumped Roger Craig to fullback, and then during his senior season Rozier ripped off over 2,100 yards on the ground on nearly 8 yards per carry. He won the 1983 Heisman Trophy, and he remains the best running back ever at Nebraska.

Head on over to the countdown thread to chat with others about greats who wore number 30, or just chat about your excitement for EA Sports College Football 25 as we enter the final month of waiting.
