The WNBA started taking on added significance in NBA 2K a couple years ago, but the 2024 WNBA rookie class has raised that interest to a whole new level. With that in mind, one of the most common questions popping up is about whether Caitlin Clark and the rest of the 2024 WNBA draft class are in NBA 2K24.
The official answer is no and it’s likely that answer will remain the same until NBA 2K25 comes out. It is possible we could see Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Cameron Brink and so on emerge in MyTeam, but I don’t foresee a situation where the WNBA rosters are updated to include the rookies.
However, all is not lost here. We have previously highlighted a “scenario” that does include all the top 2024 WNBA rookies from OS user Jumpman232. In addition, there are creators like PettyPaulPierce who continue to do great things with the PC version of the game and are able to generate some absolutely sick CAPs.
Due to the WNBA season starting so many months after NBA 2K releases, it seems this is the biggest issue that halts 2K from adding all the new rosters and players for the WNBA teams. The development team is likely already deep in the process of creating NBA 2K25, and on top of that, it’s easy to see this as a selling point of sorts for the next game.
