Embarrass the defender.

One of football’s most iconic tricks is the Rainbow Flick, and if you want to humiliate your opponents and send the ball flying over their head, then we’re here to explain how to pull it off in EA FC 24.

Tricks are a great way to show off your skills, and while some are all about finding space to get a shot or a pass away, the Rainbow Flick is all about embarrassing your opponent by pulling off one of the flashiest moves in the game.

Here’s how you can do the Rainbow Flick in EA FC 24, and when it’s best to try it.

How To Do Rainbow Flicks In EA FC 24

To perform a Simple Rainbow Flick in EA FC 24, simply flick the right analog stick down, and then straight back up. This works on both PlayStation and Xbox controllers, and you don’t need to hold L1 / LB to do it. Your player will then roll the ball up their leg, and flick it with their heel over their head, and the head of an opponent should one be close enough.

You can do the Flair Rainbow Flick by holding L1 and flick the right analog stick down, and then straight back up.

When You Should Use The Rainbow Flick In EA FC 24

It’s best to use Rainbow Flicks when your player is in a fair amount of space, as the trick requires some room to pull off. Trying to flick the ball up in a crowded penalty area will just end up with the ball bouncing around against defenders and likely getting cleared.

I find that using it on the wing is easiest as usually you only have one fullback to take on, and you should have open space to run in to if you get the ball over the defender.

What Skill Star Rating Is The Rainbow Flick?

The Simple Rainbow is a four-star skill move, while the Flair Rainbow is a five-star skill move.
