Coming off Headliners Set 3 featuring All-Star Kenny Lofton, we now go to Headliners Set 4 and All-Star Mariano Rivera. The first version of Rivera to come into the game this year was a gold Mariano Rivera that I would say a majority of folks think was relatively hittable. I do wonder if people will be a little spooked by that and shy away from Rivera, or maybe they’ll just be tired of using Rivera after the 99 overall last year that everyone eventually used. That said, this Rivera does have a sinker that the gold version did not, and he has 106 H/9 and 101 BB/9. In addition, the cutter is a little slower here, which may actually help him add a little more differential to the sinker and 4-seam fastball.

Here are his ratings:
Here are his quirks:
The odds on Headliners packs to pull a diamond are 1:10 (as always), albeit that diamond might not be All-Star Mariano Rivera. In addition, this year you can buy one pack of the Headliners choice pack, which gives you 1:3 odds of pulling a 90+ overall diamond (and of course costs more stubs).
