PlayStation has posted another behind the scenes video today with Kazunori Yamauchi providing details on the new and improved livery editor in Gran Turismo 7.
Liveries have been applied to race cars since the 70’s. Many of them provide memories of various cars, drivers and specific races. Yamauchi believes the livery editor turns a car into a blank canvas, a medium of expression, where players can express themselves.
Fans have created millions of liveries in the series. The main goal for the livery editor in Gran Turismo 7 is to improve usability and make it easy for gamers to use.
Gran Turismo 7 launches on March 4, 2022 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It’s refreshing to get so many details months before release. Let’s hope they continue pushing these videos out.
