Free 99 Overall Topps Now Alec Mills and New Johnny Bench 12-0 Battle Royale Reward

Topps Now Alec Mills is a free card you can now access in the Show Shop. The devs wanted to commemorate the no-no by Mills just like they did with Giolito. You’ll have three days to claim this free 99 overall diamond. In addition, an Awards Johnny Bench has been added to the 12-0 BR Flawless Rewards pool. Let’s look at both cards below.

Topps Now Alec Mills

Topps Now Alec Mills has a primary sinker to go with a 4-seam, change, curve and slider. He is a control pitcher so he’s going to sit in the low 90s and use a very slow curve to try and keep people off balance. This card might be somewhat similar to the Topps Now Kyle Hendricks card. He has 125 H/9, 92 control and 92 BB/9 so you’ll be able to nibble with Mills.

Awards Johnny Bench

Awards Johnny Bench is the one new card added to the Flawless pool. He has secondaries at the corners and all three outfield positions, but obviously the main draw is still behind the plate. He has maxed out power against LHP to go with 108 clutch and 114 contact vs LHP. He’s not a platoon option, but clearly he’s going to destroy LHP and be quality across the board behind the plate. This slides in with Piazza and Pudge as top-tier options — just he’s going to be more expensive being a Flawless BR reward.
