If you want a big CR reward without doing too much hard work in Forza Horizon 5, then the new Bare ESSE-ENTIALS Treasure Hunt will be right up your alley. Here’s how to complete it, and where to find the chest to claim your prize.
Treasure Hunts are a great way to earn CR in FH5, which can be used to buy new vehicles, upgrade cars you own, and even purchase property around the fictionalized version of Mexico. They usually drop every two weeks, but after a fortnight with no challenge, players were delighted to see the ESSE-ENTIALS Treasure Hunt appear.
The clue for this Treasure Hunt is: “With a scorpion badge it’s oh so bold, jump for 1 start to win some gold.” If that doesn’t make sense to you, don’t worry, because we’ve decoded it and have all the information you need to complete it.
FH5‘s The Bare ESSE-ENTIALS Treasure Hunt explained
If the “With a scorpion badge it’s oh so bold, jump for 1 start to win some gold” clue doesn’t make sense to you, don’t panic, as it’s actually pretty simple.
The car “with a scorpion badge” in the image is the 1968 Abarth 595 Essesse, which can be purchased for 35,000 CR if you don’t own it yet. As for the “jump for 1 star,” that bit is easy too. It simply means that you need to head to a Danger Zone and perform a one-star jump. This may be a little tricky because the Abarth doesn’t have a whole lot of horsepower, so make sure to get a good run-up before you try it.
Completing it is well worth it, as it’ll add 100,000 CR to your account.
FH5‘s The Bare ESSE-ENTIALS Treasure Hunt chest location
Once you’ve completed the challenge, a pink and orange circle will open up around Ek’ Balam. To find your chest, drive here, and then drive over the ramp of the first temple. You can then enter into the second temple through a hole in the bottom, and the chest will be on the right-hand side.
