After the recent release of FIFA 23’s Ultimate Team Stories, EA is back at it again with their FIFA 23 FUT Phenoms. As the World Cup winds down, there are only so many opportunities left for EA to produce World Cup-driven content. To date they have released:

What Is The World Cup Phenoms Promo?

Rumored to be focusing on those young highly talented youngsters who have/are currently making a name for themselves at this winter’s World Cup, Phenoms could be similar to Future Stars, which has featured in past editions of FIFA. What could potentially differentiate the Phenoms from Future Stars is making them related to those nations who qualified and/or made it to the quarterfinals (Brazil, Croatia, Netherlands, Argentina, Morocco, Portugal, England, and France).

At least, that was the theory, but it does seem like it’s just players who have looked good at the World Cup, regardless of how far they got.

When Is It Releasing?

Despite a lack of concrete information on this promo, it is releasing this Friday, December 9 and will run for one week ending on Friday, December 16. This is par the course for EA’s promos which typically run a week before the next new wave hits.
