FIFA 20 FUT: Updates Before the Black Friday Chaos

The quiet before the storm is taking place in FIFA 20 FUT right now. However, the market is already depressed, and for good reason as Black Friday brings the thunder in terms of packs.

We’ll get to that when Black Friday begins at 9 a.m. EST on 11/29. In the meantime, here are a couple small things you can waste a hot minute on while waiting to splurge.

The Marquee Matchups were updated. You can complete these for roughly 15K coins, and the reward for finishing all four is a Prime Gold Players pack.

• Basel vs. BSC Young Boys will get you a Premium Gold pack.
• AS Monaco vs. PSG will get you a Small Gold Players pack.
• Liverpool vs. Everton will get you an Electrum Players pack.
• Atletico Madrid vs. Barcelona will get you a Premium Gold Players pack.

The other minor SBC to knock out involves getting the Korean Dragon kit. It’s a dope looking red kit that you can knock out for about 2.5K — but really you should have cards in your collection to do this SBC.

The small movie reel icon at the top of the card gives off the impression these may end up relating to a player highlight or player moment, but we’ll just have to wait and see. Personally, I’m waiting for the time when EA’s servers can handle putting GIFs on these cards, but I don’t think we’ll get that here. Still, the FIFA art team has done good work with card art this year, and this looks like another very nice background.
