F1 22 Patch 1.09 & Updated Driver Ratings Available Today, Cross-Play Arrives Later This Week - Patch Notes

F1 22 patch 1.09 is available on all platforms fixing the automatic gearbox rev-limiter, correcting a tire temperature issue in specific offline modes and more. The team also announced cross-play is set to arrive later this week after successful beta sessions earlier this month. Check out the patch notes below.

F1 22 developers continue to update the status of what is currently being investigated along with fixes that will be addressed in upcoming patches. Several larger updates are expected later this year, including the Sports Update and additional F1 22 tracks.

Also of note, the first F1 22 driver ratings update arrived today based on mid-season performance. In collaboration with Codemasters, Formula 1 experts David Croft, Alex Jacques, and Anthony Davidson tweaked the Driver Ratings to better reflect individual performance.

Max Verstappen +1 (Overall 95) and Lewis Hamilton remain at the top of the leaderboard, while George Russell +2 (Overall 92) surpasses Charles Leclerc -1 (Overall 91) for third place. Lando Norris rounds out the top five at an overall 90.
