No More Robots announced Descenders Next the follow-up to their downhill bike riding hit Descenders. At launch, players will be able to snowboard and mountainboard, but over time more activities will be added.

Descenders Next will be packed with content right from its launch, featuring full online multiplayer, a wide array of tricks and grinds, and several expansive biomes to explore. As players ascend the mountain, they will earn reputation points that can be used to purchase new boards, kits, helmets, goggles, and more to customize their rider.

In Descenders, players enjoyed procedurally-generated tracks and hand-crafted parks. Descenders Next combines these elements, offering a seamless experience where procedural off-piste mountains transition into tight, winding parks and scenic vistas.

The parks in Descenders Next offer exciting new challenges and serve as fun playgrounds. Sometimes you’ll race down the mountain with friends, while other times you’ll focus on performing tricks and perfect landings. Scavenger hunts will encourage players to explore every inch of the mountain, unlocking special rewards for the most daring adventurers.

Monstercat will provide the soundtrack for Descenders Next. A release date has not been revealed, but it’s coming to Steam and Game Pass in 2025. The team also plans to run some online Test Sessions later this year.
